ArmInfo. Polish Ambassador to Armenia Pavel Ceplak was summoned to the Foreign Ministry in connection with the incident of delaying the issuance of a visa to a journalist. The press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan said this at a briefing on July 3.
She noted that the Ambassador was presented the position of Armenia on this issue, stressing that in the context of relations with the EU, the Foreign Ministry attaches great importance to ensuring contacts between people. "The development of relations, as well as mutual visits of representatives of the two countries will positively affect the dynamics of relations between states. We consider this issue more widely, in the context of the liberalization of the visa regime of Armenian citizens in the EU. All such issues will be addressed in the Foreign Ministry with all rigor," Naghdalyan said .
It should be noted that the reason for calling the ambassador to the Foreign Ministry was the fact that a visa was granted to the correspondent of Hetq.am. According to Armenian media, in this process artificial obstacles were created for the journalist, moreover, the embassy did not even take into account the note sent by the Armenian Foreign Ministry in this regard.
