ArmInfo.The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov at a meeting in Washington explained their positions and expectations regarding the implementation of humanitarian and security measures proposed by the mediators during their last trip to the region.
This is stated in a statement by the OSCE Minsk Group co- chairs (Igor Popov-Russia, Stefan Visconti - France, and Andrew Chauffeur - USA) following a meeting with the heads of Armenia and Azerbaijan. The statement of the mediators reminds that the co-chairs first held separate meetings with the ministers, and then on June 20 held a general meeting. Personal Representative of the OSCE Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk also took part in the meeting.
According to the OSCE, they also informed the Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Ricker about the situation on the ground and the state of settlement negotiations.
