ArmInfo. The meeting on the case of the second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan was postponed until June 18. This was stated by the judge of the Court of Appeal of Armenia Armen Danielyan.
According to him, he retires to the deliberation room in order to make a decision on the motions to dismiss the judge. The decision will be announced on June 18 at 4:00pm.
Kocharyan's lawyers made a motion to disqualify a judge, however, the judge rejected them, after which the lawyers of the second president of Armenia made a second motion. Kocharyan himself also called on Danielyan to reject the case, as in the opinion of the country's former president, the judge can not handle it. Kocharyan's lawyer also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that both complaints by the Prosecutor General's Office should be considered by the same judge, who, in his opinion, has the lowest rating. It should be noted that the Court of Appeal on June 14 considered the complaint of the Prosecutor General's Office and representatives of the assignees of the victims of the events of March 1, 2008.
