As part of his regular meetings with representatives of the public, political and business circles, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin met with the second President of the Republic of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, the embassy of the Russian Federation in the RA reports.
Yesterday, the office of the second president of Armenia also reported, a meeting of Kopyrkin and Kocharyan had at Kocharyan office a tete-a-tete. The meeting lasted about an hour. No other meeting details are given.
Meanwhile, the media today spread information that during the conversation it was agreed that during the working visit to Armenia in the fall of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Kocharyan, despite where and in what status he would be.
To note, Kocharyan is accused of overthrowing the constitutional order.
