ArmInfo. Armenia pays more attention not to the format, but to the content of cooperation with the European Union. Thus, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan responded to a question from a DW correspondent at the conference following the second meeting of the Armenia-EU partnership, whether Nikol Pashinyan did not consider the possibility of leading the delegation himself, as do the premieres of countries seeking to get closer to the European Union.
Mnatsakanyan reminded that the Prime Minister of Armenia was directly involved in contacts, discussions and meetings at all levels in a very dynamic year. He recalled that Pashinyan, in particular, during this time visited Brussels three times. "I believe that Pashinyan personally knows all EU high-ranking officials through dynamic dialogue and personal involvement," he said, recalling that the Prime Minister had participated in the anniversary meeting dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership.
Speaking about the content of the cooperation, the Armenian diplomat drew attention to the way the joint work was organized, outlined the constitutional framework for the implementation of the agreement on a comprehensive and expanded Armenia-EU partnership. "And from this point of view, we have created a very important coordination mechanism in Armenia, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, and whose work involves all government departments and ministries in a comprehensive way. As a result, a joint roadmap for the implementation of the agreement was developed. I think that in terms of performing tactical work on the realization of our important agenda and the better recognition of each other, there are no problems, "Mnatsakanyan concluded.
