ArmInfo. On June 11, the first meeting of the Council on combating trafficking and Exploitation was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mger Grigoryan.
According to the press service of the government, the Deputy Prime Minister, welcoming the participants of the meeting, wished the Council constructive work.
During the meeting, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia presented the process of implementation of the work on combating trafficking and exploitation. Then, an international expert invited to the meeting, the results of monitoring the implementation of the national program to organize the fight against trafficking and exploitation in 2016-2018. He also touched upon the problems that should be taken into account when developing a new three-year program. The meeting participants also discussed a new program to combat trafficking and exploitation for 2019-2021.
