ArmInfo.Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia David Melkonyan on May 31 received representatives of the World Bank. This is the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to the source, Melkonyan highly appreciated the effectiveness of the programs implemented by the WB in the justice system, and discussed with guests the process of their implementation, which set the goal of modernizing the public sector and implementing reforms in the judicial and legal sphere.
Representatives of the WB inquired about the process of introducing an informant system, in connection with which it was reported that an electronic informant site had already been launched, which is the main tool ensuring the effectiveness of this system, and in the application of which the RA Prosecutor's Office plays a key role.During the meeting other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
