Secretary of the NKR Security Council announced the start of the  national movement "In the name of Artsakh"

ArmInfo.. Secretary of the NKR National Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan announced the start of the national movement "In the name of Artsakh". This is stated in the statement of Balasanyan received by ArmInfo.

The statement, in particular, reads: "Today, for Armenians living in  the Diaspora, it is necessary to carry out harmonious activities in  Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora framework. Only in the presence of this  unity is it possible to confront the challenges facing our people and  take consistent steps to build a united powerful Armenia. For  thousands of years, our people have been compelled to demonstrate  their right to life and to pass through all challenges with dignity.

In April 2016, when we once again found ourselves on the threshold of  trials, the unity of Armenia- Artsakh-Diaspora once again proved to  the world its resilience and steadfastness, "the Security Council  Secretary stresses.

Balasanyan also notes: "Today, I am noting with internal concern that  not all public, political forces enjoying authority are aware of the  seriousness of the situation around the Armenian statehood and the  dangerous consequences arising from this situation. Some groups,  political parties and interested individuals, manipulating patriotic  feelings, promote slogans, veiling their own selfish goals, I  consider this an inappropriate and very dangerous phenomenon that is  not compatible with the goals of the Armenians.

Taking into account all of the above, I made a decision to come up  with the initiative of the nationwide movement "In the name of  Artsakh". The goal of this movement is to create a united and  powerful Armenia, with the solution of the following problems:  international recognition of Artsakh, strengthening the security of  Armenia and NKR, expanding cooperation with the Diaspora and  preserving national values, "Balasanyan stressed.

In conclusion, he noted that public, political, and other  organizations, as well as individuals, could join the movement. "Dear  compatriots, by joining the nationwide movement" In the name of  Artsakh ", you will actively participate in the implementation of our  super-goal with your ideas and suggestions," he concluded.
