ArmInfo.Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan sees no problems in Armenian-Russian relations. He said this on May 23 in an interview with journalists, answering the question of "how he is going to build relations with Russian colleagues, given his pro-Western position emphasized in the past."
According to Grigoryan, the issue of relations with the Russian Federation and its sympathies lost its relevance a year ago. Today, such questions, as he pointed out, are more likely speculative. "I have repeatedly answered this question and today I see no problems in the Armenian-Russian relations," he said.
At the level of the head of the Security Council, Grigoryan noted, active work is being carried out with Russian colleagues. "During this time, I had three meetings with colleagues from the Russian Federation, and another such meeting will take place on June 18," he said. In addition, according to the head of the Security Council, today the visit of Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev to Armenia is being discussed. Earlier it was reported that the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan will visit Russia on June 17-20. In the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa, an international meeting is scheduled with the participation of the heads of the agencies responsible for security issues.
