ArmInfo. Chief of the Armenian Police, Valery Osipyan, does not exclude the risks associated with the intentions of certain groups to incite a conspiratorial war. He stated this on May 23 in an interview with journalists after the sitting of the Cabinet, commenting on the recent statement by the Prime Minister that "the remnants of the past corrupt authorities constantly plan and implement conspiracies against the people," Osipyan said that he was not entitled to comment on the statements of the head of the government.
When asked whether, as the head of the power structure, he sees such risks, Osipyan said: "I don't rule out". In this case, the Chief police officer refused to name the sources of the threat. "Let me not publish information owned by the Police at this stage," he said.
To recall, on May 20, speaking about the judicial-legal system, the Prime Minister stated: "Even during the election campaign at the parliamentary elections last year, I noted that, after analyzing the situation, I see under this phenomenon even an attempt to ignite a conspiratorial war, the surrender of certain territories with the aim of placing the responsibility for this on the government of Armenia. In this context, I regard this as an activity similar to high treason, and I, as Prime Minister of Armenia, who is the security guarantor of Artsakh, as supreme commander in the event of hostilities, will take the most stringent measures to eradicate such conspiratorial intentions.
