ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to the USA Varuzhan Nersisyan met with the Deputy Secretary of State for Education and Culture Marie Royce. The press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia reports.According to the source, the ambassador presented to the deputy state secretary the events held in the USA on the Armenian public and culture, including the results of the "Folk Life" Smithsonian folk festival, in which Marie Royce took part, and the unprecedented Armenia exhibition at the museum.
The metropolitan diplomat also spoke about a number of cultural initiatives, including the festival "Color of Pomegranate", which will be organized in 2020 in conjunction with the Washington National Cathedral and the PostClassical orchestra.The US Deputy State Secretary and the Armenian diplomat discussed the participation of Armenia in educational programs of the US State Department (Fulbright student program, foreign visitors leadership program, exchange of future leaders, etc.), as well as the number of RA citizens studying in the USA.
