Oleg Smirnov to  chair  VTB Bank (Armenia) board 

ArmInfo. The Council of VTB Bank (Armenia) was headed by Oleg Smirnov. The press service of the bank told ArmInfo that  Smirnov has been working in the VTB Group since November 2018, and is a member of the VTB Management Board, where he is responsible for the VTB Group's international retail business,  digital business, customer service, retail network management, car  loans and mortgages.Oleg Smirnov was born on August 7, 1975.

 He graduated from the Ural State Economic University and the Higher  School of Economics. He has a degree in economics. He worked in  senior positions in PJSC Sberbank of Russia, from 2007 to 2012 he  headed Sberbank in Kazakhstan. From November 2018 works in the VTB  group.It should be noted that VTB Bank (Armenia) CJSC became a member  of the VTB international financial group in April 2004.  Currently,  the second largest in Russia, PJSC "Bank VTB" owns 100% of VTB Bank  (Armenia) shares.  The Bank traditionally ranks among the leaders of  the banking system of the Republic of Armenia by major indicators.  The branch network of VTB Bank (Armenia) covers 70 divisions with a  presence both in the capital and in all regions of the country.  Moreover, both in the total number of branches and in the number of  regional branches, the Bank retains its leadership, occupying the  second position in the number of capital divisions.
