ArmInfo. The growth of Artsakh's GDP by the end of 2018 was 11.9% or 310.3 billion drams. The Minister of Finance of the Artsakh Republic Arthur Harutyunyan stated this on May 20 in the country's parliament, presenting the annual report on the implementation of the budget for 2018.
According to the minister, economic activity by the end of last year was 12.1%. The share of the mining industry in GDP growth reached 5.1%. GDP per capita was 2 million 103.3 thousand drams, compared to last year's 1 million 855.9 thousand drams.
Thus, the volume of industrial production reached 125 billion drams, compared with 2017, growth amounted to 29.3%, construction increased by about 52.5 billion drams, providing 11.5% growth, the volume of agricultural products increased by 74.1 billion drams. At the same time, the average monthly nominal wage increased by 3.7% compared to 2017, to 161.181 thousand drams.
The growth was also recorded in the foreign trade turnover - by 24.9% to $ 555.1 million. At the same time, exports reached $ 353 million with an increase of 22.6%, while imports grew by 29% to $ 202.1 million.
The actual revenues of the state treasury instead of the planned 53 billion 813.1 million drams amounted to 54 billion 282.1 million drams. Collectability was 100.9%. At the same time, expenses amounted to about 97.2% of the planned figure - 104 billion 450.7 million drams. Inflation was 1.8%.
