As IDBank Retail Banking Director Vardan Gevorgyan explained , the Rocket card is first and foremost a convenient tool for daily usage that enables a cardholder to take advantage of the current technological opportunities. The card can be replenished instantly from Idram wallet account, IDBank accounts, from any card attached to Idram wallet, terminals of the two companies and branches of IDBank without commission fee. After the card is activated, its balance is reflected on the Idram application, and whenever you want to make payment, you may choose that card as a fund source. One can transfer their free money on to the Rocket card and receive 4.5% annual interest on the positive balance.
Besides, in case of making non-cash purchases via Rocket card, the customer gets cashback, and the card also has an opportunity of making non-contact payments. Moreover, customers with positive assessment of creditworthiness will have the opportunity to get a credit line together with the Rocket card, the limit of which will be set by the bank. There is no need to visit the bank for getting a credit line; you only need to confirm your intention to get a credit line while ordering the card," said Vardan Gevorgyan, adding that the opportunities of the card would be expanded to make its usage more convenient and attractive.

According to the analytical review "Armenian Banks in the Card Business", prepared by ArmInfo IC, the number of active IDBank cards exceeded 49.2 thousand units by October 1, 2018, of which about 19.2 thousand were ArCa and more than 23.2 thousand - Visa, and the rest over 6.8 thousand - MasterCard. The Bank increased the total number of active cards by 32.2% annually due to a significant increase in the number of Visa and MasterCard (by 49-72%). Namely, for the considered annual period, the bank issued over 12 thousand cards, of which 7.7 thousand - Visa. The total amount of plastic transactions of IDBank in the first 9 months of 2018 amounted to 22.3 billion drams, of which about 14 billion are ATM transactions. The bank has 152 own POS terminals and 52 ATMs, mainly concentrated in the capital. IDBank (formerly called Anelik Bank) was the first among Armenian banks to issue and maintain international Visa and MasterCard simultaneously with local cards.
