On May 17, a working meeting took place between the ministries of defense and health of Armenia, which were devoted to the decision adopted earlier at the government meeting on the holding of the summer draft and the demobilization of the ordinary service personnel and the measures related to its implementation.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, during the meeting, the ministers David Tonoyan and Arsen Torosyan presented problems in the health sector that are associated with the normal functioning of the armed forces and which require effective mechanisms for strengthening and enhancing the effectiveness of interdepartmental relations.
In particular, during the meeting, the ministers discussed the need to prepare and implement new, more effective mechanisms for the process of medical examination of draftees, both during conscription and pre- conscription periods. The importance of the operational interaction of the two ministries, which allows you to quickly and efficiently solve various problems that arise during the preparation and conduct of the appeal, was noted.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the intensification of cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health.
