ArmInfo. Current and former Artsakh's Presidents Bako Sahakyan and Arkady Ghukasyan with their signatures in the court of general jurisdiction of Armenia secured a petition to change the preventive measure against the first NKR President, the second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan under their personal guarantee.

The judge read out to the Presidents of Artsakh their rights and  obligations in the case of bail for Kocharyan, including warning them  about criminal liability, if the accused violates the law or the  order of being at liberty after being released on bail. The NKR  Presidents stated that their rights and obligations are clear to  them, and they are ready to sign under the guarantee of release of  Kocharyan.  Meanwhile, Kocharyan himself said that it was an  extremely unpleasant situation that his friends-presidents were  forced to personally appear in court and vouch for him, ensuring that  when he was free, he would not run away from the investigation. "It  is extremely offensive for me that the court does not change my  preventive measure, fearing my escape. It is simply humiliating for  me - a man who fought, I did not run away from an enemy bullet, I  looked into the face of death, nobody saw my back. I came to Armenia  abroad to participate in the investigation, and when the decision was  made to arrest me, I didn't wait for the law enforcers, and I myself  came to the Yerevan Penitentiary Center. All of this is extremely  humiliating for me, "Kocharyan said again.
