ArmInfo. There are a lot of materials on the case of March 1, 2008, which were not included in the materials of the case. The second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, who was accused of overthrowing the constitutional system, said this on May 16 in a court of general jurisdiction in Yerevan.
According to Kocharyan, among these materials in the Special Investigation Service there are video recordings, the presence of which SIS silenced down. Gorik Hakobyan (former head of the National Security Service of Armenia) presented me these records, and we watched them, and the investigating body categorically denied the availability of these records from the very beginning," the second President of Armenia emphasized.
Kocharyan said that before his famous press conference on March 1, 2008, he contacted Gorik Hakobyan. "Gorik Hakobyan told that the demonstrators use weapons and there are fighting grenades. He told me that people get out of the cars and shoot in the direction of the soldiers. After publications appeared in the press that there was nothing like that, Gorik Hakobyan personally brought I have a number of videos that are not mentioned in the case file. There are very interesting materials about how a grenade explodes, how a police captain dies from a grenade explosion. All this was in the materials, however, there is no such material today. We are talking about a whole criminal business initiated by the National Security Service, these materials were committed to the SIS on March 2, but they are not there, and they are not attached to the case file, "the second president emphasized. He also noted that he was confident that a number of other materials were not attached to this case.
