Armenia and Bulgaria have great potential for developing relations, and the RA government is interested in further strengthening cooperation and implementing long-term programs in various fields, Suren Papikyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia, said on May 14, while receiving the Bulgarian Ambassador to Yerevan, Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchiyeva.
According to the press service of the ministry, during the meeting Suren Papikyan stressed that the experience of cooperation in various fields, in particular at the interregional and intercommunal level, shows that both states should more actively start forming a new, more aggressive agenda of Armenian- Bulgarian relations.
Ambassador Maria Pavlova Tzodzorkova-Kaymaktchiyeva thanked for the reception and noted that the history of the Armenian-Bulgarian friendship can be viewed as a practical manifestation of the full realization of cooperation with a broader agenda between the two partner countries. During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the experience of recycling waste, building reservoirs, public-private partnerships, organic agriculture and finding new ways of cooperation through high-level visits.
