ArmInfo.<For many years we tried to convince Robert Kocharyan to write a book, but he didn't want to rake over the dust and ashes of the past >, on the eve of May 12at the  presentation of the Armenian translation of the book "Life and  Freedom" by the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan Bella  Kocharyan reported.

She noted that Robert Kocharyan was revealed in his book, where he  lovingly described the nature of Stepanakert, Karabakh, spoke about  his childhood and his family. "Now the second presentation of the  book is taking place, the first one took place in Stepanakert on  January 26. Unfortunately, the author is not present at these  presentations, as he is illegally deprived of freedom, but we found  it necessary to hold this event," Bella Kocharyan stressed. She also  noted that the book is easy to read and can teach how important it is  to love the motherland. According to Kocharyan's wife, the book can  be very useful for young people:  "There is so great patriotism that  it is shocking, this book will help us not to get lost," concluded  the wife of the second Armenian President.

During the event, a movie was shown in which the biography of the  second president of Armenia was presented. Then, the younger son of  Robert Kocharyan, Levon Kocharyan, read the message of his father.   In it, in particular, Robert Kocharian stressed that he would like  the book's presentations in Russian and Armenian to take place  simultaneously, however, the authorities prevented this. According to  the second president, the first part of the book tells about the  people who entered the heroic pages of the modern history of Armenia,  and the second part describes how the president managed to ensure the  pace of development of the country, and how Kocharyan, "at the height  of success," refused from the extension of power. "I really hope that  the events that will become material for my new book will not take  long to wait," Robert Kocharyan emphasized in his address.
