ArmInfo. In order to avoid the risks associated with seismic activity and the threat of landslides, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia will be allocated about 9.5 million drams from the government reserve fund. The decision was made at a government meeting on May 10.
According to the Minister of Emergency Situations Feliks Tsolakyan, there is a serious risk of landslides on 86 km of the M6 Vanadzor-Bagratashen road. This, as he noted, can lead to a threat to traffic on a given segment of an interstate road. The situation is similar at 25 km of the inter-republican road in Lori on the Marz-Atan section.
Activation of landslide processes and the outlined seismic activity is also fraught with traffic. Given these risks and possible threats, the Emergencies Ministry proposes to allocate 9.5 million drams for geomorphological, engineering and morphological studies, in particular, about 4.4 million drams for research on the M6 road and about 5.1 million drams for the Marts road. Athan At the same time, realizing the seriousness of the situation and the need to quickly resolve the issue, the Emergencies Ministry proposes making purchases out of the competition - by purchasing this type of service from one person. -
