ArmInfo.Parliamentary elections in December 2018 restored the people's trust in the institution of power. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a big press conference. The prime minister noted that according to statistics after the velvet revolution the number of marriages increased by 5 percent, and divorce declined by 17 percent.
Democratic elections have influenced the economic atmosphere. So, today there are no privileged persons in the country and all players in the market are provided with equal access. Artificial monopolies have been eradicated, there are no oligopolies either. At this stage, as the Prime Minister pointed out, Armenia can boast of the absence of systemic corruption. Today there are no political prisoners either and no one in the Republic of Armenia is prosecuted for political reasons.
