Some monthly - 100 thousand drams, others - 400 thousand  drams, third - a million. Let me remind you that we are talking about  those people who are officially considered poor and receive from 18  thousand drams to 40 thousand drams as social support" Pashinyan  wrote According to the head of the government, the state spends 4.5  billion  drams annually to pay benefits to these people.  At the same  time, as  the Prime Minister noted, in order to raise the salary of  military personnel by 10%, 9 billion drams is required. "What do you  say, dear  compatriots, the above 11 thousand 281 people should lose  their  allowance or not?", Pashinyan wonders.

As Zaruhi Batoyan, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia,  said at today's press conference, speaking to the citizens, the Prime  Minister wanted to hear people's opinions about how justified the  principles of the current family benefit system are. To address the  issue, as she pointed out, a working group was created by a decision  of the head of government, which will examine possible gaps in the  system, as well as establish more specific criteria for the selection  of beneficiaries of the system.

As expected, the research will be completed by September of this  year. It will be decided whether the presence of credit obligations  will affect the decision of the authorized body to provide family  benefits to the applicant. In any case, as the head of the Ministry  of Labor and Social Affairs has stressed, an individual approach will  be shown in each individual case. "It's one thing when citizens take  a loan to solve health problems, but there are also those who simply  abuse the family allowance system, receive large loans and pay large  sums on them every month," she said.
