According to the press service of the Judicial Department of Armenia, according to the procedure, it must be transferred to another judge.
In February, the Special Investigation Service announced that it had completed the preliminary investigation of the Kochanryan case. The investigation accuses Kocharyan under the article "overthrow of the constitutional order." The second president of Armenia is also charged with receiving a bribe on a particularly large scale. Kocharyan himself considers the charges fabricated political persecution.
