ArmInfo.ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, as the exclusive partner of American Express in Armenia, is the general sponsor of the annual Yerevan Wine Days festival. According to the press service of the bank, the festival takes place on May 3 and 4 on Saryan and Moskovyan streets.
"Since its establishment, the Bank has contributed to the development of the real sector of the economy, constantly funding projects aimed at developing the economy. I am convinced that such events stimulate domestic producers in terms of product presentation, and increasing its awareness. And in this context, we cannot stand aside", Artyom Ghazaryan, Head of Marketing Communications Department at ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, said.
For her part, the festival organizer Nune Manukyan stressed that ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank always supports domestic production. "We are also the organizers of the "Areni" wine festival. And if not the support provided to farmers by the Bank, viticulture would not have developed so dynamically, and today we would not have so many winemakers, "she said.
According to the report, annually the festival is visited by 20-25 thousand people, of which 40% from abroad, which contributes to the development of tourism. More than 200 types of wines will be presented within the framework of Yerevan Wine Days produced by Armenian manufacturers. The purpose of the event is to promote the development of tourism and the representation of Armenia as one of the countries that are the cradle of wine.
To note, the cooperation between ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and American Express payment system started in November 2010, and from that moment the bank acts as an exclusive agent of American Express Corporation in Armenia. Today, the Bank produces 3 types of AmEx cards: American Express Gold, American Express Blue and American Express CashBack.
