ArmInfo. The inspections of the State Control Service (SSC) at Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) and the penitentiary institutions (MTI) are in the final stage. On May 2, the acting head of the SCS of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan, told reporters on May 2. He noted that it is possible on Monday to complete the work on the compilation of inspections at YSMU and in the near future the country's penal code.
Karamyan also reported on ongoing checks in the water system of Armenia. They have already given positive results, as a result of which two criminal cases were initiated.
On the question of whether inspections are being carried out in law enforcement agencies - the Police and the National Security Service, Kiaramyan replied that there was a corresponding department in the GKS that should deal with these issues. "Today I'm not ready to talk about the dates when and in what power structure we will carry out inspections, but I'll say unequivocally that our management should work there too."
Let us remind that on April 26, in an interview with journalists, when asked why the GSK did not conduct inspections in the National Security Service for a whole year, although it had similar powers, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan advised not to forget that the Service mentioned as national security agency , operates under the prime minister. "The inspections were not carried out, because there was no need for them. The State Control Service will conduct inspections when I consider it necessary," he said.
