ArmInfo. Businessman, MP, head of the Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan is sure that there are no grounds for depriving him of his mandate. On May 2, in an interview with journalists Artashat, where the football tournament of municipalities of the republic is taking place, Tsarukyan himself said, referring to the initiative of the Citizen's Decision Party about depriving of its mandate due to the fact that it is bypassing the law.
He noted that he had received a complaint, which was obliged to give a move. "If there is acomplaint than must be at least something under it. They are obliged to give a complaint a move, listen to it and make a decision in accordance with the Constitution of Armenia," the MP said.
Tsarukyan promised to more thoroughly answer questions from journalists after the game. It should be noted that the "Citizen's Decision " party sent to the Prosecutor General of Armenia Arutur Davtyan and the Speaker of the Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan a statement in which they are asked to initiate criminal proceedings against the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, MP Gagik Tsarukyan. Representatives of the party noted that based on a number of statements by Tsarukyan, it turns out that he, despite being a deputy, continues to engage in entrepreneurial activities, which is against the law. Party representatives ask for clarification of the case, and if these suspicions are confirmed, deprive Tsarukyan of his mandate and investigate the case in detail.
