ArmInfo.The investigation into the case of abuse by the employees and the head of the State Control Service(SCS) is conducted by the National Security Service(NSS), respectively, Artur Vanetsyan has the right to comment on this process. On May 2, Armenian General Prosecutor Arthur Davtyan told reporters in response to the remark that the ex-head of the SCS and his lawyers noted that Vanetsyan did not have the right to spread details on the case.
The Prosecutor General refuted the widely held opinions that the case file was framed in order to settle personal accounts. "I assure you that the evidence in this case has nothing to do with personal relationships. If someone decides to do this, then imagine what will happen to this person," said Davtyan.
To note, the head of the State Control Service, David Sanasaryan, was charged under 308 (Abuse of office - Ed. note). As stated in the official message of the NSS, on April 18, the investigator approved the prosecutor to temporarily remove Sanasaryan from his post, as was announced by the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. As a measure of restraint elected on his own recognizance. Sanasaryan himself considers the case fabricated.
To note, the question is abuses that occurred during the tender for the supply of dialysis equipment to medical institutions, in which employees of the State Control Service are also involved. One of them is arrested. According to media reports, he was the one who testified against Sanasaryan.
