ArmInfo. Head of the State Control Service of Armenia David Sanasaryan is convinced that the criminal case initiated against him has one outcome, it will be  dismissed.

Sanasaryan himself stated this at a press conference in Yerevan. At  the same time, he stressed that in the event of termination of the  criminal case against him, Armenia will face a new challenge, namely  the need to "clean up" the legal field. He also stressed that he had  ceased to interact with the investigating authorities, since he saw a  prejudiced attitude. According to him, the accusation against him is  false and biased. "I see questions here," he added.

"I would also like to inform that when we started checking in various  structures and departments, I was warned that we would meet with  serious resistance on this path. But I said that I was aware of what  I was going on, and the law should triumph," Sanasaryan said.

To clarify whether it can be considered from what he said that the  Armenian National Security Service is connected with the oligarchs,  Sanasaryan assured that he didn't say anything, but only emphasized  what signals he received.

He also denied rumors about the acquisition of expensive apartments  and cars after he was appointed head of the SCS.  Meanwhile, the  defenders of Sanasaryan assured that in the case of their client a  lot of inconsistencies, contradictions and with a detailed  investigation it will be stopped. At the same time, they stressed  that there is a process of appealing against the charges of the  Prosecutor General's Office. The lawyers stressed that they would  give a more detailed analysis after the lifting of the prohibitions  on the disclosure of confidential information.

To recall, in the case of tenders for the purchase of equipment for  hemodialysis, the National Security Service previously arrested the  head of the procurement monitoring department of the SCS Samvel  Adyan, the chief specialist of the same department Gevorg Khachatryan  and the accountant of Zaroshen LLC Taron Avetisyan. Later, Gevorg  Khachatryan was released from arrest, with regard to him as a measure  of restraint, he was not required to leave.

According to the NSS, the Acting Head of the Procurement Monitoring  Department of SCS Samvel Adyan together with the chief specialist of  the same department Gevorg Khachatryan, having entered into a  preliminary conspiracy, based on personal interest, contrary to the  interests of the service, using his official position, during  2018-2019 illegal intervened in the procedures for the organized  procurement of controlled facilities in order to purchase medical  equipment necessary for the Ministry of Health of Armenia and a  number of medical centers from The goal of ensuring victory in the  announced tenders of the trade organizations sponsored by them.

Earlier, the press leaked information that the head of the SCS was  brought as a suspect in a criminal case against employees of the  department entrusted to him. As a measure of restraint elected on his  own recognizance. It is also reported that a confrontation was held  between Sanasaryan and his department employee Samvel Adyan. As noted  in the media, the authorities have already found a replacement for  Sanasaryan.
