ArmInfo.Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan at a meeting with Deputy Mayor of Lyon Georges Kepenekian stated that there is a substantive agenda for cooperation between Armenia and France.
As the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo, adding that mutual visits at different levels will contribute to the expansion and deepening of Armenian-French decentralized cooperation. Touching upon the decision of French President Emmanuel Macron to proclaim April 24 as the Day of Remembrance of the Armenian Genocide Victims, Mnatsakanyan stressed that Armenia and the Armenian people highly appreciate this step of fraternal France aimed at restoring the denied justice. The Armenian Foreign Minister presented a broad agenda of the country's reforms aimed at stimulating the economy based on innovations and technologies. In this regard, the importance of developing Armenian- French cooperation in such areas as innovation, creative education, information technologies was mutually emphasized. The interlocutors also indicated that there is a serious potential between Yerevan and Lyon for cooperation in the economic sphere.
