On the basis of operational information obtained in the department for combating corruption and crimes against the economic activities of the General  Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the RA Police, evidence  was obtained that the management of the "Aragatsotn" water user  company, acting as a legal entity not pursuing a profit made  lawlessness.

In particular, the Directorate of this company, taking advantage of  the unfair attitude towards the service of competent staff of the RA  Water Committee and the opportunities created as a result of  inadequate fulfillment of duties to monitor water supply and water  use established by the RA government, with the intention of using its  regulatory and other powers contrary to the interests of the  organization and in favor of itself violated the initial requirements  of the agreements on the provision of water supply services concluded  with subscribers during 2016-2019 the volume of natural losses of  35%, resulting from water supply, the management of the company  attributed to the accounts of water users. Instead of fixing the  volumes of water supplied per cubic meter, without installing water  meters, they actually deprived subscribers of the ability to control  the volumes of irrigation water supplied. By including these data in  e- journals and actually inflating the volumes of services rendered,  they increased the balance of receivables from subscribers to the  company to 654.800.000 drams, which led to dire consequences for  water users and the organization.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of an obvious crime. The  investigation continues.
