ArmInfo. The head of the Armenian government does not intend to dismiss the head of the State Control Service of Armenia David Sanasaryan. The press secretary of the  Armenian Prime Minister Vladimir Karapetyan told ArmInfo  correspondent about this.

"Nikol Pashinyan is not going and does not intend to dismiss David Sanasaryan from office, since he respects the presumption of innocence," Karapetyan said.On April 18, the head of  the State Control Service of Armenia David Sanasaryan was charged  with part 1 of Article 308 (Abuse of power) of the Criminal Code of  Armenia. 

In particular, Sanasaryan is accused of using his official position  contrary to the interests of the service and non-fulfillment of  official duties, proceeding from his own interests, which caused  substantial damage to persons, organizations or the legitimate  interests of the state. His  duties as head of the GKS were temporarily suspended, and the Prime  Minister was notified of this, "the NSS said in Armenia.

 Earlier, the NSS arrested two employees of the State Control Service  Samvel Adyan and Gevork Khachatryan, as well as a representative of a  related company. According to the NSS, the acting head of the  Procurement Monitoring Department of NSS Samvel Adyan together with  the chief specialist of the same management Gevorg Khachatryan,  having entered into a preliminary agreement on the basis of personal  interest, contrary to the interests In 2018-2019, using their  official position, they illegally interfered in the procedures of  organized purchases of controlled objects in order to purchase  medical equipment necessary for the Armenian Ministry of Health and a  number of medical centers in order to ensure victory in the announced  tenders of the trade organizations sponsored by them.
