Armenian parliament starts discussions on candidacy of member of  constitutional court of Armenia

ArmInfo.At the April 16 sitting, the Armenian parliament began discussions on the nomination of a member of the Constitutional Court of Armenia.As head of the RA  President's staff Emil Tarasyan noted in his speech, the president of  the country put forward the candidacy of Gor Hovhannisyan for the  vacant post of a member of the Constitutional Court. In total, the  President's office received a package of documents for three  candidates - Gor Hovhannisyan, Vahe Grigoryan and Martin Manukyan.  Following the interviews, the RA President, having taken note of the  entire package, submitted the candidacy of Gore Hovhannisyan to the  country's parliament.

The candidate on the eve of the National Assembly of Armenia met with  deputies from the ruling faction "My Step". In a conversation with  journalists, hereported that the meeting discussed legal issues  related to constitutional law and the Constitutional Court of the  Republic of Armenia. "I suppose that the impression is good, I liked  our conversation and I hope that I left a good impression on the  faction representatives," said Gor Hovhannisyan. To the remark of the  journalists that according to some information, the deputies of the  National Assembly from My Step tend to elect him,G. Hovhannisyan  replied: "I have not heard anything like it. "
