ArmInfo.On March 4, Vice President of the Armenian Parliament Vahe Enfiajyan, who is on a working visit to Moscow, met with Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Petr Tolstoy.
As the press service of the parliament reports, during the meeting Enfiajian conveyed an invitation to Tolstoy to visit Armenia. Within the framework of the expected visit of the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, a meeting-discussion is scheduled, at which a number of important issues relating to Armenian- Russian relations and inter-parliamentary diplomacy will be discussed.
In his speech, the Vice President of the Armenian Parliament stressed the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in the matter of further strengthening ties and implementing multi-vector initiatives. Enfiajian assured that within his authority he will make every effort to intensify effective bilateral cooperation.
In turn, Petr Tolstoy stressed that Armenia is a strategic partner of the Russian Federation, stressing that bilateral relations should be developed in all possible ways.
