ArmInfo. The government of Armenia approved the amendments to the law "On Diplomatic Service" at a meeting on March 4.
According to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigor Hovhannisyan, the presented document attempts to settle the issue related to the persons, missions from the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Prime Minister's office and to state structures. However, the issue of sending to the office of the President and the National Assembly of Armenia remained open. The presented draft law solves this problem, while maintaining the status of diplomat for seconded persons.
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, noting the importance of the document, stressed the need to implement a common foreign and domestic policy in the implementation of the government program. "There cannot be several external politicians, there should be one policy, and it should correspond to the policy of the government," Nikol Pashinyan stressed.
