ArmInfo.Armenia and Kazakhstan are starting to cooperate in ensuring the quality of medical education. According to the official report of the National Center for Quality Assurance of Education, the corresponding memorandum of understanding was signed by the Eurasian Center for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health care -ECAQA (Kazakhstan) and the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation of the Republic of Armenia.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties expressed their willingness to develop cooperation, share experiences, and organize joint events, including joint accreditation, research, and lectures.
According to the source, the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation will present its Kazakh colleagues with experience in institutional and program accreditation in educational medical structures. In turn, ECAQA will share its experience in the implementation and application of the standards of the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) at the national level.
To note, the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation implements processes to ensure the quality of education through institutional and program accreditation in primary, secondary and higher educational institutions. The Foundation aims to assist in creating a culture of quality education in accordance with the legislation of Armenia in professional educational institutions.
ECAQA is a non-profit, non-governmental organization to ensure the quality of education and training of health care professionals. It has the status of a recognized accredited body and is included in the relevant Registry.
