ArmInfo. There are no contradictions in the positions of Armenia and Artsakh on the  settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The press secretary of  the Armenian Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan stated this on March 20  at a press conference in Yerevan.

So, answering the question whether Yerevan's position differs from  Stepanakert's position on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict,  especially considering that Artsakh's Foreign Minister Masis  Mayilyan, after meeting with OSCE Chairperson--in-Office, Miroslav  Lajcak, told journalists about the need to revise the Madrid  principles, Naghdalyan recalled that Mailyan is a representative of  the NKR, and he represents the official position of the Karabakh.  "Armenia has its own position, Artsakh has its own, since it is a  separate entity. Whether there are contradictions - no. We cooperate  with Artsakh colleagues and discuss all issues, the dialogue exists  on all issues," the spoksperson noted, adding that the issue was more  detailed recently commented the Armenian Foreign Minister.

Naghdalyan also reminded that Prime Minister of the Republic of  Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated at the joint meeting of the Security  Council of Armenia and Artsakh that the meeting would be aimed at  clarifying the principles and elements. "At the press conference  yesterday, the Prime Minister repeated what was said at the joint  meeting of the Security Council - there are three principles and six  elements on which each side has its own interpretation. It is  necessary to work out an approach acceptable to all at the upcoming  meeting," the spokeswoman noted.

Referring to the timing of the forthcoming meeting, Aliyev-Pashinyan,  the representative of the Armenian Foreign Ministry stressed that  there is no new information on this issue, and as soon as the dates  and place are agreed, the public will be informed about this. She  also stressed that Yerevan highly appreciates the efforts of the OSCE  Minsk Group co-chairs on an exclusively peaceful settlement of the  Nagorno- Karabakh conflict, and is always in constant contact with  the mediators.
