ArmInfo.Within the framework of the CEPA Agreement (on EU- RA Comprehensive and Comprehensive Cooperation - Ed.), The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia intends to offer its partners a number of programs that contribute to solving problems in the field of education in the country.
On March 18, during the event, dedicated to the start of the EU dialogue with the Armenian government on the reform of the educational system, RA Minister of Education and Science Araik Harutyunyan stated. In this vein, he expressed satisfaction with the negotiations at CEPA.
<You know that in the government program, in the preamble itself, it is indicated that the new government of Armenia is committed to the development of a high-tech economy. And without introducing special tools into the educational process, in particular, into the national education system, we will not be able to solve this problem, "he stressed. In continuation of the above, the Minister noted that todayproblems in this area are numerous. In particular, Harutyunyanstressed that with the presence of brilliant youth - citizens of the twentieth? century, who played a crucial role in the implementation of recent events,Armenia, unfortunately, still has the education system of the twentieth century. "There is a tendency when certain groups of beneficiaries instead of striving for citizens of the 20th century, on the contrary, are trying to bring everything back to the 20th century," he noted.
In this direction, according to the minister, there is a huge amount of work for which the government is more than ready.Harutyunyan also highly appreciated the possibility of implementing programs in cooperation with the EU. He noted that since the appointment tothe post of minister, numerous meetings and concrete works have already been held. In the context of the implementation of the annual action plan, the Minister stressed the importance of the implementation of the EU4Innovation program, as well as other cooperation programs planned for 2020.
