On March 15, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for Foreign Relations held a closed discussion with the participation of members of the commission and Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. As the press service of the parliament reports, the chairmen of the standing committees of the National Assembly on the protection of human rights and public affairs, on state and legal issues, the head of the Enlightened Armenia faction also participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, issues related to the priorities of the foreign policy of the Republic of Armenia, the process of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem were raised.At the meeting, the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan stressed the importance of using parliamentary tools in the interests of the RA foreign policy in cooperation with the legislative and executive bodies. The need for regular joint discussions in a similar format was also emphasized.
