ArmInfo.On March 14, the Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, received the Co-Rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Armenia, Yulia Levochkin and Andrei Shirtsel.According to the press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, during the meeting Ararat Mirzoyan expressed the readiness of the National Assembly to actively cooperate with the co- rapporteurs.The Chairman of the Parliament noted that Armenia consistently fulfills the obligations envisaged by the membership in the organization, stressing in this context the importance of a successful course of the action program for 2019-2022.

The co-rapporteurs of the PACE Monitoring Committee expressed their readiness to deepen ties with Armenia and expand cooperation in parliamentary platforms.At the request of the guests, Ararat Mirzoyan presented the priorities of the parliamentary work, the legislative process, touched upon such areas as transitional justice, electoral reform, anti-corruption policy, stressing the importance of cooperation between the government and the parliament in this area.
