ArmInfo. Relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom should continue after brexit on the basis of positive and rich experience gained on bilateral and multilateral platforms and a solid legal base.
This was announced at the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the United Kingdom Arman Kirakosyan and Minister of State for Europe and the Americas Alan Duncan. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Duncan presented the situation with brҐxit and possible scenarios of the development of the situation. Speaking about bilateral relations, the parties agreed that they are at a high level.
In his turn, Kirakosyan presented the latest events in Armenia and the priorities of the government, in particular, regarding the fight against corruption, reforms implemented in the economic sphere. He also presented the approaches of the Armenian side on the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict, as well as recent developments around the negotiation process. Kirakosyan thanked the State Minister for the programs implemented by the United Kingdom in Armenia, noting their importance for our country.
