ArmInfo. An attempt to transport 109 grams of the drug methamphetamine was prevented in Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the source, the attempt was prevented by operative intelligence officers of the anti-smuggling department of the State Revenue Committee, employees of the Syunik regional departments and Russian border guards in the Agarak border area of the Armenian border. As a result of checking the Armenian citizen G.V. who arrived from Iran two plastic bags with white powder with a total weight of 109 grams of methamphetamine were revealed.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated in the investigation department of the SRC on the grounds of the 1st part of Article 267.1 of the RA Criminal Code.
