


ArmInfo. The ratification of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) of the Armenian-EU Partnership by the Swedish Parliament will not be long in coming. First Deputy Speaker Lotta Johnsson Fornarve stated this during a meeting with the NA President Ararat Mirzoyan. "The ratification process is in line with the country's internal regulations," she said.
According to the press service of the parliament of Armenia, Mirzoyan attached particular importance to the early ratification of CEPA by the member states of the European Union, expressing in this vein hope that Sweden, on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership, will take significant steps for this.
In particular, the President of the National Assembly of Armenia highly appreciated the activities of Mrs. Fornarve in the interests of Armenia, both in Sweden and at international platforms, including in PACE. Stressing the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation, he noted that in recent years there has been a positive dynamic in terms of the development of relations, in particular in terms of deepening inter- parliamentary partnership.
