ArmInfo. The position of our  government on the Karabakh issue has not changed. On March 6, Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this from the rostrum of the  parliament.

He noted that the government initially noted that it would act  adequately to the situation that will be at one time or another. "I  have repeatedly noted that the resolution of the Artsakh issue should  be acceptable to the people of Armenia, Artsakh and Azerbaijan. This  was a difficult statement, but I made it to form a normal negotiating  atmosphere. It became clear that Armenia took the first step in the  hope that Azerbaijan will also make a similar statement, but it did  not follow, "Pashinyan stressed.

The Prime Minister noted that, on the contrary, militaristic  statements are constantly being heard from Baku. "It becomes obvious  that the government of Azerbaijan believes that the resolution of the  conflict should not be acceptable to the people of Armenia and  Artsakh. We remain true to our position, be adequate. In addition, we  continue to adhere to the position that, in order to ensure the  productivity of negotiations, their format. That is, Nagorno-Karabakh  should be brought into the negotiation process under the auspices of  the OSCE Minsk Group as a third party, " Nikol Pashinyan said.

Pashinyan also stated that the right of the Artsakh people to  self-splitting is a cornerstone in the resolution of the Karabakh  conflict for the Armenian side. He stressed that the principle of the  people's right to self- determination, along with other principles of  conflict resolution, was also enshrined in the OSCE Minsk Group. "And  now we are cooperating with our international colleagues to make our  position clearer.  Recently, we see that the position of the Armenian  side in the Karabakh settlement has recently become more perceived by  the international community," the Prime Minister concluded.
