ArmInfo. We are running out of patience, one of the founders of the "Sasna Tsrer" party Zhirayr Sefilyan wrote on his Facebook page.
In particular, he noted: "Members of the Sasna Tsrer group Armen Bilyan and Smbat Barseghyan, 10 months after the revolution, are still under arrest. They are one of the harbingers of the revolution, they decided to sacrifice their lives, rebelled against the genocidal regime that seized power, while they continue to be judged by the laws of that same regime, by false accusations of prosecutors and investigators of the former regime.
It is at least doubtful that the authorities who became at the helm of power after the revolution, who should be interested in solving cases of the events of "March 1, 2008", by all their actions, including their own, amnesty act, resembling a trap, strongly denies the right to the uprising against the vulgar regime that took place on March 1, 2008. And those who participated in this process are referred to the judges who were servants of the previous regime.
As a minimum, it was possible, taking into account, at least false information, in the case of March 1, not to believe the results of the investigation in the case of Sasna Tsrer, and release the people who had raised the uprising to freedom, while simultaneously investigating the case, and also investigating all frauds which were carried out in this case, during the investigation.
The time to quietly remain silent and calmly follow the judgment of the rebels is over. Our patience is exhausted, if Armen Bilyan and Smbat Barseghyan are not released, the most worthy and conscious part of our society is forced to recognize the right to revolt and their release. "
To note, in July 2016, armed representatives of the Sasna Tsrer group stormed the regiment of the patrol regiment service of the Police in Yerevan. As a result of their actions, three policemen were killed in several days. After Nikol Pashinyan became the country's prime minister, many members of the group were released; however, a number of criminal cases continue to be heard in court. Two members of the group Armen Bilyan and Smbat Barseghyan are still under arrest. The head of the Armenian police, Valery Osipyan, noted that he was against the amnesty of the group members.
