ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan intends to hold a march on March 1, which will be timed to the events of March 1, 2008. On this February 21, Nikol Pashinyan himself said live on his page on the social network Facebook.He noted that after lengthy discussions it was decided to hold a march from Freedom Square to the Myasnikyan monument. Prime Minister also noted that the march will be devoted to the victory of a citizen in the country.
"Our march will be, first of all, directed against violence, as well as against election fraud, against violation of laws and corruption," Pashinyan said, noting that the procession will record the victory and the power of Armenian citizens.The procession will move from Freedom Square on March 1 at 18:30. "I invite all Armenian citizens to take part in it," the Prime Minister concluded. To note, on March 1, 2008, the Armenian police applied force against citizens conducting a peaceful rally on Freedom Square in Yerevan to protest the falsification of the presidential election. Rallies lasted about 10 days. As a result of the use of force, the police killed 10 people. The names of the killers to this day are not disclosed.
