ArmInfo.The second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan's eldest son Sedrak Kocharyan, is going to sue the National Security Service (NSS) "for gross violation of his presumption of innocence." This was announced by the head of the office of Robert Kocharyan, Viktor Soghomonyan. In the coming days, lawyers of Sedrak Kocharyan will file a lawsuit in court and will issue a statement in this connection.
To recall, on February 18, it became known that Sedrak Kocharyan, the eldest son of Robert Kocharyan, the second president of the Republic of Armenia, was charged with tax evasion on a large scale and money laundering. On February 19, the Investigation Department of the National Security Service of Armenia made a statement in which it provided explanations in the framework of the criminal case under investigation, noting that in respect of Sedrak Kocharyan and other persons, a written undertaking not leave the place was chosen as a measure of restraint.
