The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of South Ossetia signed the Agreement on Cooperation.As the press service of the NKR MFA reports, the agreement was signed during the working visit of the NKR Foreign Minister Masis Mailyan to South Ossetia.Within the framework of the Agreement, the parties agreed, in particular, to hold regular consultations and negotiations at the level of ministers of foreign affairs and other levels on international, regional and bilateral issues of mutual interest.
The agreement also provides for the implementation of joint activities and programs in the field of exchange of experience, establishing and strengthening working contacts and organizing various forms of internships, creating conditions for the mutual use of opportunities for training diplomatic personnel.During the visit, a meeting was held between Artsakh's Foreign Minister Masis Mailyan and South Ossetia's Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev during which they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and bilateral ties between the foreign ministries of the two republics as part of the signed Agreement, as well as issues relating to regional processes.
