ArmInfo. Today, on January 30, the ceremony of taking the oath by the members of the Armenian government was held at the residence of the President of Armenia. Members of the new Cabinet swore in good faith in the discharge of their duties, the press service of the Armenian President reported. At the beginning of the ceremony, the national anthem of Armenia was sounded. Members of the Armenian government read the text of the oath, pledging to follow the Constitution of Armenia, its laws, serve the sovereignty of Armenia and its interests, while remaining faithful to its high calling.
For the first time a similar ceremony was held on May 21, 2018."For the sake of achieving national goals and strengthening the motherland, I swear to faithfully fulfill my responsibilities to the people, abide by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Armenia, help preserve the sovereignty and interests of the Republic of Armenia, remain loyal to the high rank of a member of the government," first read the oath of Prime Minister Nikol Nikol Pashinyan. On January 14, the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan signed a decree appointing Nikol Pashinyan to the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
The following appointments in the cabinet were made by presidential decrees: Zohrab Mnatsakanyan was reappointed as Foreign Minister of Armenia, David Tonoyan- Minister of Defense, Araik Harutyunyan - Minister of National Security, Suren Papikyan - Minister of Territorial Administration and Development, Eric Grigoryan - Minister of Ecology, Felix Tsolakyan - Minister of Emergency Situations, Hakob Arshakyan - Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia, Tigran Khachatryan - Minister of Economic Development and of investments, Atom Janzhugazyan - Minister of Finance, Arsen Torosyan - Minister of Health, Artak Zeinalian - Minister of Justice, Zaruhi Batoyan - Minister of Labor and Social Issues.
