ArmInfo. On January 30, Ambassador of Tunisia to Armenia, Mohamed Ali Shihi, presented his credentials to President Aremen Sarkissian, the press service of the president reports.
According to the source, the president expressed confidence that the Ambassador would make a significant contribution to the development and expansion of Armenian-Tunisian relations.
Armen Sarkissian also touched on his meeting with the President of Tunisia within the framework of the 17th Francophonie Summit held in October 2018 in Yerevan, saying that the OIF is a platform where Armenia and Tunisia can actively cooperate.
The President of Armenia, in particular, noted the importance of interaction between the two countries in the field of economic cooperation, and, as a start, considered it necessary to intensify contacts and explore potential of both countries.
