ArmInfo. In relations between Russia and Armenia, we need predictability, constancy and mutual understanding, and it is very good that both parties understand this. Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin, who is in Armenia on a working visit, stated this on January 30 in an interview with journalists in Yerevan.
He said that on the eve he had a conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. The sides thoroughly discussed all issues related to the Armenian-Russian relations. "We have agreed to maintain close contacts, coordination, as well as to support cooperation at international platforms within the UN, OSCE, etc. In a word, to develop our cooperation," the Deputy Foreign Minister of the RF noted.
Karasin also said that a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation will be held soon. Also in February, a separate meeting of the co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission is expected, during which all relevant issues will be discussed in detail.
